Lana never expected for her life to take the turn that it did. Being married with children she had no business to have a wandering eye, but the day Donaven stood in front of her, she felt an instant connection, a longing desire. After many months she finally lost herself in his world, discovering the woman she was always meant to be.

Donaven from the beginning knew the outcome of the end, yet there was no stopping him from his Lana, his Wildling.

Not a HEA, but you can keep the H for Hope…

When I first heard about this book, I have to say I was slightly skeptical, but highly intrigued. I am only recently beginning to delve into romance novels and this one has quite the “kick-start” to it with a “break-you-in” sex scene.

The premise of this story made me nervous because it was about a married woman who essentially has an affair. But what the reader doesn’t really understand is the backstory behind her marriage or why she was seduced into an affair in the first place.

This backstory is really what helps you to relate with the characters and ultimately understand the hardships they are all experiencing and why they made the decision they have.

Keeton writes masterfully and with raw emotion the scenes that unfold in this self-published story. Lana and Donaven are sexy, classy and irresistible as they grow in their relationship with one another.

While the topic covered can be a big touchy for many readers, other reviewers would agree that it is done with an air of elegance and ultimately the characters grow to know themselves far greater than they did when the story begins.

If you’re a fan of romance novels, I highly recommend checking out HIS by K.M. Keeton.
